Korean spice viburnum - viburnum carlesii

  • 4-6’ x 4-6’ Full sun to part shade
  • We are a fan of many viburnums for their multi-seasonal interest, but one of our favorites is carlesii
  • Clusters of pinks buds open up to white flowers
  • Flowers have a pleasant fragrance opposed to some other viburnums
  • Flowers give way to bright red oval berries that eventually turn black
  • Also partially shade tolerant
  • ‘Compactum’ is a smaller form for small spaces
