Korean spice viburnum - viburnum carlesii
- 4-6’ x 4-6’ Full sun to part shade
- We are a fan of many viburnums for their multi-seasonal interest, but one of our favorites is carlesii
- Clusters of pinks buds open up to white flowers
- Flowers have a pleasant fragrance opposed to some other viburnums
- Flowers give way to bright red oval berries that eventually turn black
- Also partially shade tolerant
- ‘Compactum’ is a smaller form for small spaces
